M GROUP INTERNATIONAL / THE DESTINATION EDIT

Monaco

A world within an address.

A Mediterranean setting with distinct neighbourhoods and an intensely personal choice of building. In Monaco, finding the right home means looking closely at how you want each day to work.

THE M GROUP PERSPECTIVE

Begin with the life.
Then find the home.

The view is only the beginning. Compare the entrance, lift, parking, outdoor space and services as carefully as the apartment itself. A home that feels effortless for a short stay may need a different layout and support system when it becomes your principal base.

PLACES TO EXPLORE

Find your setting.

01 / Monte-Carlo

An address at the centre of things

For a centrally oriented search, begin with the routes between home and the places you expect to visit most. View the building at different times, ask about nearby works and understand how arrival, deliveries and parking function in practice.

02 / Larvotto

A life oriented towards the sea

Monaco’s tourism office describes Larvotto through its beach and promenade. If the sea is central to your brief, compare actual access with the view from the apartment. Assess outdoor space, privacy and the route from the building to the waterfront.

03 / Fontvieille

A different waterfront setting

Our selected residence is in Seaside Plaza, with amenities described in the property particulars. For a building-led search, establish what is included in the charges, how services operate and which facilities meet your needs. Those details help make the comparison concrete.

LIFE IN MONACO

The everyday matters.

Quality of life

The building is part of the home

Focus on the practical features that shape daily comfort: access, storage, parking and the spaces shared with neighbours. Ask to see them during the viewing rather than judging the home solely from its principal rooms.

Food & culture

An international table

Monaco’s dining scene includes chefs working across Mediterranean and international traditions. The tourism office’s profile of Marcel Ravin, for example, describes a dialogue between Caribbean roots and the Mediterranean. Explore what feels like your local place as well as the special occasion.

Everyday living

Try the routes you would repeat

Spend time walking between the property and your regular destinations. Consider how gradients, lifts, entrances and busy periods affect your experience. A practical route home can be as valuable to daily life as another room.

THE INFORMED BUYER

A considered
next step.

Ownership, residence and the realities of looking after a home.

Property & residence

Treat the purchase and the residence application as separate decisions. Monaco’s government sets out a residence-permit process for people aged 16 or over who intend to settle or stay beyond the relevant three-month threshold. Ownership alone should not be treated as approval to reside.

Taxation & personal circumstances

Ask for a review that takes account of nationality, existing tax residence, income and the way the home will be held. Do not translate Monaco’s reputation into a universal tax promise. Request a written estimate of acquisition costs and recurring building charges as well.

Policy & local context

Confirm the legal status and conditions affecting the particular apartment with the notary and advisers. If a longer-term move is the goal, coordinate the property search with the official residence requirements, including accommodation and financial documentation.

Editorial guidance reviewed September 25, 2026. Tax, residence and ownership requirements depend on individual circumstances. Confirm the current position with qualified local advisers before committing.
